Discount of the Dead

The day? Black Friday. The shoppers? Ravenous. The deals? The deals are simply to die for. The year is 2031 and your friends, family and neighbours are no longer the people you once knew. They’ve become something else: something  violent and hungry.  A horde of shambling bodies has descended on your local  supermarket and they will watch the aisles run red in the pursuit of a good discount. 

Discount of the Dead is a top down arcade style game with a focus on collecting  shopping items to increase your score.  Players will run around a super market,  avoid  fellow customers trying to steal their points and try to beat their, or their friends, on the leader board.
Fast paced gameplay mixed with a comedic zombie horror aesthetic will deliver a fun and unique experience that reconceptualises the mundane task of shopping into a fight for your life against a bloodthirsty horde hungry for a good deal.

 This game was made in a month as part of our university game design course.  As a result its not a perfect game by any means. 
Also the true horror of this game is that we forgot to add a sound bar so please make sure you have turned down the volume before you hit play.
